Sleep Dentistry

For our highly anxious patients or for those undergoing extensive treatment, we offer sleep dentistry. With this method of sedation, we administer sublingual tablets in conjunction with nitrous oxide to create an extremely sleepy state. Most patients stay asleep for the duration of the procedure and when they awake experience retrograde amnesia, remembering very little if any of what was done. With sleep dentistry, patients must arrange for someone to bring them to their appointment and drive them home. Not all patients are good candidates for sleep dentistry so be sure and talk to one of our team members if you are interested.
